Expect Nifty50 EPS for FY18 at Rs 468: Sanjeev Prasad

Our EPS estimates for the Nifty 50 Index for FY18e and FY19e are Rs 468 and Rs 582 respectively, says Sanjeev Prasad of Kotak Institutional Equities.

Sanjeev Prasad of Kotak Institutional Equities said, "We model 5.7 percent YoY growth in net profits of our coverage universe led by strong growth in consumers, energy, industrials and metals & mining sectors despite drag from automobiles, pharmaceuticals and telecom. We estimate EPS of the BSE 30 Index at Rs 1,439 for FY18e and Rs 1,812 for FY19e."
