For STVs worth Rs 44 and Rs 122, local calls be charged at 1.4paise/ 2 seconds, BSNL said.

In a bid to counter Jio, BSNL is offering attractive data plans to woo more consumers. The telecom industry has been reeling due to an extended price war since Reliance Jio entered into the market. Aggressive data pricing by Jio has ultimately benefitted the consumers, who are now spoilt for choice by a slew of generous data offers by the incumbent operators. As part of its festive discounts, BSNL is offering special tariff vouchers (STVs) under its 'Dussehra Vijay Offer', the company said on its website.


BSNL's Rs 42, Rs 88 plan


The first plan, which runs from September 25, 2017 to October 10, 2017, is applicable if a customer buys a recharge pack worth Rs 42 or Rs 88. For a one minute call, customers will be charged 10 paisa per minute on BSNL-to-BSNL network for local and STD calls. For a one minute call to other networks, customers will be charged 30 paisa/minute for local and STD calls.

For a second pulse, customers will be charged 1 paisa/3 seconds for BSNL-to-BSNL calls local/STD calls. If you make a call to another network, you will be charged 2 paisa/3 seconds for local/STD calls.


BSNL's Rs 44, Rs 122 plan


For STVs worth Rs 44 and Rs 122, local calls be charged at 1.4paise/ 2 seconds. For STVs worth Rs 65, local BSNL-to-BSNL calls be charged at 15 paise /minute.


BSNL's Rs 69 plan


For a recharge of Rs 69, local calls to any network will be charged at 1 paise/2 seconds, said the company in a release.

The above plans will not to be implemented through BSNL's self care/USSD/SMS mode of recharge.


BSNL's Rs 80, Rs 120 Plans


There are two more plans that have been running from September 25, 2017 and will continue till October 5, 2017. Customers will get a full talk time on a top-up of Rs 80 and a top-up of Rs 120 will give you a 'extra talk value of Rs 130', said the company. Both these plans can be activated through all recharge modes.
