Union Minister Prakash Javadekar today dubbed the Biju in as a "PC" (percentage commission) and claimed it has lost credibility due to "rampant corruption" at all levels.

In a stinging attack on government, the senior leader claimed that the BJD regime would soon make an exit with bag and baggage in as people have lost confidence and faith in it due to misrule and corruption.

Referring to the multi-crore chit-fund scam, Javadekar said the pozi scheme companies had cheated the people, but the BJD is now taking the small investors for a ride.

Though the state had announced formation of a Rs 300 crore corpus for those who lost money in chit-fund scam and claimed to have identified around 75,000 investors, nor a rupee has been given to any of the affected people so far, he claimed.

The Union Minister also alleged that large-scale corruption is taking place in implementation of different Central schemes in and claimed the state has put up a dismal show in taking its own programmes to people.

Javadekar, who reviewed organisational activities of in the seven assembly segments under Puri Lok Sabha constituency, said he was optimistic about victory of party candidates in all seats even if elections are advanced and held in 2018.
