Deepika Padukone, who made her debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om, is the latest name to crop up in relation to Aanand L Rai’s untitled dwarf film. Looks like this project is turning out to be a complete star-studded affair with the likes of Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt and now Deepika doing cameos and actors like Shah Rukh, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif already in the official cast.

As reported by DNA, sources close to the production unit told them, “While Katrina and Anushka have been shooting for the film, Deepika shot for the guest appearance recently.” And the list doesn’t end there. A long line of celebrities have apparently shot for the film. Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor, Sridevi and Kajol are just few of the names that have been revealed till now. Even Salman Khan was reported to return the Tubelight favour and do a cameo for SRK in this very film. Shah Rukh also shared a picture with his leading ladies on Instagram a few days ago.

Talking of Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan, their first film together, Om Shanti Om also saw a star-studded dance sequence featuring the who’s who of Bollywood. From Salman Khan to Dharmendra, everyone made an appearance to do the hook step with SRK. And it looks like, history will repeat itself this time too. After Om Shanti Om, Shah Rukh and Deepika also share screen space in Billu, Chennai Express and Happy New Year.

After being touted as Bollywood’s first dwarf project, this Aanand L Rai film is grabbing more eyeballs with its stellar cast.
