Tollywood’s much-awaited wedding between Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya is all set to take place in Goa on Friday. It will be a two-day wedding ceremony, where the celebrity couple will tie the knot according to Christian and Hindu customs.

The high-profile private wedding ceremony will be attended by close family members and friends only. According to reports, the couple will be footing all the expenses of the guests, including their travel and accommodation. A chartered flight has also been arranged for some special guests to fly them to Goa from Hyderabad.

Here are the important details of the biggest celebrity wedding of the year.

Destination wedding: There were several speculations regarding the venue of the wedding ceremony earlier. However, now it’s clear the couple will take their relationship to next level in a dream wedding set in the splendid backdrop of Goa. In fact, both Sam and Chay have been camping in Goa for over a week now and celebrating every moment in the run-up to the big day. Sam has been revealing her day plans on her profile’s Instagram stories and surely making her fans equally excited about the wedding.

Wedding rituals: The wedding will happen according to Hindu and Christian rituals. Chaitanya and Samantha will get married in a Hindu ceremony on October 6. For which, Samantha will be wearing Kresha Bajaj designed lehenga. For all those who are unaware, Samantha wore the same brand on her engagement and the details of the lehenga had Sam and Chay’s love story.

 

On October 7, the couple will get married again in a church. Samantha had revealed how she was extremely excited about her wedding dress, which has been selected by her sister. We are excited to know what Chaitanya will be wearing.

Star-studded ceremony: While the two-part wedding would have nearly 150 invitees, the couple and their respective families have plans to hold a grand reception in Hyderabad for industry friends. According to reports, celebrities such as Ram Charan and his wife Upasana, Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh, Rahul Ravindran and his wife among others will be attending the wedding in Goa.

Wedding Budget: The budget for the wedding is pegged at Rs 10 crore, reported Times of India. And yet the couple’s family call it a ‘simple’ wedding.

Honeymoon: Given that Samantha and Chaitanya are part of many upcoming films, the two will immediately resume shooting for their respective films soon after the wedding. The couple will fly out of the country for a vacation around Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

The couple has planned to honeymoon in New York as they had made some good memories while shooting for their first film together, Ye Maaya Chesave.
