2. Khemchand Adesh Kumar (Daulat ki Chaat)

Available only in the cold winter months of November, December and January the special chaat at this food joint uses only fresh buffalo milk and is available near Kinari Bazar from 9 am to 2 pm and post that at Nai Sarak till 6 pm. The iconic chaat stall was started by Khemchand Adesh Kumar, from Moradabad, who was actually a farmer by profession. He earns his livelihood for the rest of the year by selling Gol Gappe and Chaat in Burari, Delhi.

3. Ramprasad Makhan Lal

Located in the wholesale market of spices, Khari Baoli, this eatery is famous for Malpuas. Started 60 years ago by Makhan Lala, it is now run by his great-grandson Dinesh Kumar. They serve Bedmi Aloo and Nagori Halwa during the day and snacks like Samosas in evenings. They are also famous for making traditional Indian sweets in desi ghee with a modern twist.

4. Lal Ram Shri Krishan Gupta

Started in 1980 by Lal Ram Krishan Gupta, this eatery is placed at the corner of Ganesh Baazar that dishes out Moong Dal Cheelas which are made with desi ghee. The perfectly cooked delight is stuffed with peas and paneer filling and the owner claims to have introduced Delhi to this delicacy at the Ram Leela Mela at Red Fort ground. Served with Khatti and Meethi Chutney, their Aloo Tikkis are a must-have.

5. Kake di Hatti

Established in 1942 by Sardar Sahib Singh, Kake di Hatti serves as many as 22 varieties of naan including Aloo, Mooli, Gobhi, Paneer, Dhaniya, Adrak and Pudina. During winters they also serve Sarson ka Saag and Makki ki Roti as well as Amritsari Kulche. Famous for spiciness, this place serves a naan called Dhuandaar Naan that has a strong flavour of yellow chilli powder.
