All India Bakchod (AIB), the controversial Indian comedy group, is no longer new to controversy. Earlier this year, AIB attracted controversy after they shared a meme of PM Modi look-alike with a puppy dog Snapchat filter. After receiving several hate mails the post was taken down. And just when we thought that the comedy group is going to stay away from mocking the current government, here comes another video titled ‘Mitros’, a tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The said video is a parody of Narcos and is a visual capsule of three years of Modi government. From cow vigilantism to Yogi Adityanath becoming the CM of Uttar Pradesh and from surgical strikes to demonetisation, the video features everything that happened in the three years of Modi government. The most important part? The video stars Prime Minister itself.
For the uninitiated, Narcos is a poular show on Netflix based on the life of Colombian drug lord pablo Escobar. The show chronicles the drug wars in Colombia, the cocaine capital of the world. The first two seasons account the rise and fall of Escobar, while the third season documents the emergence of Cali Cartel and their downfall. The fourth season will focus on the shift of drug capital from Colombia to Mexico.
