New entrant Reliance Jio has led to intensified competition in the telecom industry with the incumbent telecom operators reviewing their voice call offers and mobile data tariffs. Many rival telecom companies have slashed their call charges and revised data tariffs for their customers. Keeping up with the new industry standards, Vodafone India is offering 1GB or gigabyte of mobile data every day at a price of Rs 349. The pack also includes unlimited calls to users and comes with a validity of 28 days, Vodafone India said on its mobile app - My Vodafone. The offer is only for prepaid users and the pack will stay valid for a period of 28 days, said Vodafone.

Jio offers 1GB data in Rs. 309, Rs 399 plans
Reliance Jio's recharge pack of Rs 309 offers 1GB of data at 4G speed every day, up to 56 GBs. After a customer consumes the entire limit of 56 GBs of 4G speed data, the internet speed is reduced to 128 kbps, according to the Jio website - jio.com The Jio plan is valid for 56 days and available for its prepaid users. One also gets unlimited free local/STD voice calls and SMSes (short message service) with this pack.
Jio customers buying the Rs 399 recharge pack get unlimited data for the validity period of 84 days - 84GBs at 4G speed with a limit of 1GB per day and at a reduced speed of 128 kbps thereafter. This pack too ensures unlimited free local/STD voice calls and SMSes, according to the Jio website.
Airtel 1GB data at Rs 199
Airtel offers 1 GB data for 28 days, unlimited local and STD calls along with roaming outgoing calls under its Rs 199 pack.
Airtel 1GB data per day at Rs 349
Airtel's recharge plan of Rs. 349 includes voice and data benefits. Valid for 28 days, the Rs. 349 recharge pack from Airtel includes 28 GB of data (with a daily limit of 1 GB) along with unlimited calls. RCom’s 1GB data per day offer at Rs 193
Reliance Communications (RCom) is offering 1GB data every day in a recharge pack of Rs 193. Customers also get unlimited calls up to 30 minutes a day, the company said on its twitter handle.
