Ittefaq trailer, Ittefaq teaser, Ittefaq, Ittefaq video, Ittefaq watch, Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khann Ittefaq stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna.

Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles, Ittefaq revolves around a double murder with two suspects. The film, directed by Abhay Chopra, is the remake of the 1969 classic starring Rajesh Khanna and Nanda.

Ittefaq’s trailer is here and from the looks of it, it looks like an edge of the seat thriller. The film’s trailer explains that the story will be told through two points of view, something that we also saw in Meghna Gulzar’s 2015 film, Talvar. The trailer begins with an injured Sidharth Malhotra landing up at Sonakshi’s doorstep to ask for help. She lets him inside the house but that mistake changes the course of the night. Sinha and Malhotra play suspects in a double murder case and through interrogations with the police, they are both trying to prove their innocence. Akshaye Khanna is playing a cop in the film and it probably is just a coincidence that Khanna’s last appearance, Mom (starring Sridevi) also had him playing the role of a cop. Sidharth Malhotra’s last release A Gentleman had him playing a double role. Sonakshi Sinha was last seen on the silver screen earlier this year in Noor. Sinha also judges the TV reality show, Om Shanti Om. This is the first time these two actors will be seen opposite each other in a film.

The original 1969 film was directed by Yash Chopra under the B.R. Chopra banner and can easily be considered as one of the best crime thrillers of the time. We are yet to see if the adaptation sticks to the original plot entirely or the story has been updated to keep up with the times. A good crime thriller with multiple points of view sure sounds like a treat for fans. Here’s hoping Ittefaq delivers just like its trailer.
