Only a genius like Sreenivasan could have essayed the role of Thalathil Dineshan, a youngster with an inferiority complex. The last scene in the movie that conveys that he is still battling with his demons leaves a lasting impression on viewers.

A prep school student in need of money takes care of a blind colonel who in turn helps him to chase his dreams. Splendid performance by Al Pacino as the Colonel.

Anti-hero Anna (Nana Patekar) walked away with the applause in this tale about the underworld. Lead actors were Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.
