Nithari serial killer Surinder Koli has told a special that he is suffering from severe ailments in Ghaziabad's Dasna jail and sought permission for treatment outside jail, which was granted.

Koli on Wednesday applied for outside treatment before Special judge Pawan Kumar Tiwari, who granted him the permission.

In his application, Koli said he was suffering from acute fever because of malaria, typhoid, cough and other ailments and wanted permission to be treated outside the jail for proper diagnosis and better treatment.

Koli, who has been sentenced to death, was visibly suffering from severe fever and cough during his appearance in He was unable to sign on the papers and put his thumb impression instead.
