Police leads awareness rally on helmet rule

GUNTUR: The police took out a helmet awareness rally to highlight the importance of wearing a helmet and following traffic rules at Mangalagiri in Guntur district on Wednesday. 
The Mangalagiri rural police took out a rally from rural police station to Don Bosco School on Yerrabalem Road in Mangalagiri.  

“Accidents can be minimised if people follow traffic rules while riding two-wheelers,” the police said. They also cautioned youth against over-speeding. “Car drivers should also wear seat belt and should possess valid documents,” the police said. SI K Vasu exhorted the public to follow traffic rules and warned of imposing fine if they violate the road safety rules. “Cases will be booked against parents, if they allow their minor children drive bikes,” he said.
