Cops begin inquiry with owners of pvt recruitment firms

Coimbatore: The Tirupur police have started probing the owners of Reliance Industrial Recruitment, Renald Industrial Recruitment and Volvo Industrial Recruitment on Tuesday for sending job offer letters to the Madras high court judge Justice S Vaidyanathan.

Sanjithkumar, Sakthivel and Subramaniam, all hailing from Tirupur, has been running the three private employment firms respectively in Tirupur.


The trio appeared before the city crime branch in Tirupur on Tuesday and told the police that their recruitment firms received text message from one particular mobile number in the name of S Vaidyanathan with detailed address. Based on the text message, the firms sent the call letter to the address. But they were not aware that the address belongs to Justice Vaidyanathan.


They also produced documents to the police. "We have been collecting documents from the three private firms and further inquiry is on," said a senior officer.


The Coimbatore rural police conducted inquiry with Vasudevan of Karumathampatti, who runs a recruitment firm in the name of diamond at Karumathampatti. "We thoroughly checked the firm and the private recruitment firm already provided jobs for more than 200 youths in textile sectors. There is no violation," said a police officer.
