A film and TV serial producer has been arrested for allegedly raping his maid and blackmailing her with an MMS clip of the incident, police said today.
The accused had allegedly raped the woman in his house at Sector 15 E-block, and threatened to upload the video clip on the Internet if she dared to complain to the police, an FIR filed by the woman's husband at Sector 20 police station said.
The man told the police he had produced daily soaps, made a feature film and worked in some major channels, station incharge Anil Kumar Shahi said.
The victim has been sent for a medical examination, Shahi added.
