The new song from Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim's Secret Superstar, 'Nachdi Phira' is the former's number one song from the movie. Sung by Meghna Mishra and written by Kausar Munir, this soulful number encapsulates Wasim's longing to get on that stage and sing her heart out.

In 'Main Kaun Hoon', the first song of the film, the predicament of Wasim's character was brought to the forefront. She conceals her identity by wearing a burqa and records her videos.
Being from a conservative family, uploading her singing videos on the internet is one of the few ways through which she can pursue her passion for singing.
Her relentless efforts, more or less, start coming to fruition in 'Nachdi Phira' as she grows more open to being on stage. Her videos start getting noticed by kids from her school and the song captures her slow yet steady progress as a singer.
Secret Superstar, which features Zaira Wasim, Meher Vij and Khan in lead roles, is based on the story of a child who aspires to be a singer. Produced by Khan and Kiran Rao, Secret Superstar is slated to release on Diwali, which falls on 19 October.
