Ujjain: A three day kabaddi competition in which teams of the Malwa region are taking part in different categories of girls and boys, is currently underway at Saraswati Vidya Pratishthan.
In under-14 girls’ category Ujjain team bagged first position and Shajapur team stood second. In the under-14 boys’ category, Ujjain bagged first while Khandwa team stood second. In the under-17 girls, Khandwa came first and Shajapur at second place. Khandwa and Shajapur will play the final of the under-19 category. Guests Subhash Nagar, Ambaram Karada and Kailash Dhangar distributed prizes to the winner teams. The competition will conclude on Wednesday.
Region-level yoga competition held
Around 150 students from various parts of Malwa region are participating in a yoga competition being held at the premises of Saraswati Vidya Pratishthan, Mahakalpuram. Teams from Shamgarh, Kalyanganj, Khandwa; Vaikunth Nagar, Khandwa, Sailana, Alirajpur and Bhanpura are participating in the competition.
