Odisha government transfers 12 senior IAS officers

BHUBANESWAR: The state government today effected a reshuffle at the top administrative level by transferring as many as 12 senior IAS officials.     

As per the changes, Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra, principal secretary in the food supply and consumer welfare department has been transferred and posted as principal secretary in the school and mass education department in place of Ranjana Chopra. She has been posted as secretary in the cooperation department with additional charge of director general, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar.    

Manoj Ahuja, principal secretary in the agriculture and farmers' empowerment department has been transferred as officer on special duty, general administration, and public grievances department while Gudey Srinivas, principal secretary in the labour and ESI department has been posted as principal secretary in the commerce and transport department in place of Sanjay Rastogi. Rastogi has been posted as officer on special duty in general administration and public grievances department.    

On return from central deputation, Anu Garg has been posted as principal secretary in the labour and ESI department while Saurabh Garg has been posted as principal secretary in the agriculture and farmers' empowerment department. Nikunja Bihari Dhal, special resident commissioner, government of Odisha, New Delhi has been transferred and posted as secretary in the excise department with additional charge of secretary in the science and technology department.    

VV Yadav, secretary in the science and technology department has been posted as secretary in the food supply and consumer welfare department while Niranjan Sahu, director, industries, Cuttack has been transferred as additional secretary in the chief minister's office. Besides, Bishnupada Sethi, commissioner secretary in the rural development department with additional charge as special relief commissioner, Bhubaneswar has been given additional charge of managing director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority, Bhubaneswar.
