Soybean futures ease further on global cues

Soybean prices eased for the second straight day today by falling Rs 7 to Rs 2,982 per quintal in futures trade as participants indulged in trimming positions amid muted subdued cues.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, soybean for most-traded delivery in November eased by Rs 7 or 0.23 per cent to Rs 2,982 per quintal, having an open interest of 70,770 lots.


In a similar manner, soybean for delivery in October shed Rs 5 or 0.17 per cent to Rs 2,935 per quintal, having an open interest of 35,370 lots.
