One of the last things one wants to do is light up a cigarette at a petrol pump, unless one has a death wish. Or a plan to kill others as well.

It seems some people just don't get something as elementary as not using fire around combustible substances. A video is going viral where a man played a stubborn halfwit and refused to snub his cigarette at a gas station.

An employee at the pump was quick to tell the smoker to not do so but after realising the smoker was clouded with his disruption, he took the matter in his hand.

The employee approached the troublemaker smoker and pulled out a fire extinguisher. He then unleashed the fury of the extinguisher at the unruly smoker, snubbing both the cigarette and his disruptive cloud.

A video of the incident shows people inside the car being forced to step out after the petrol pump employee's epic action.

According to a news report, the incident took place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

"I love how the smoker even up till the last moment (or so it seems) was like 'no way man he's just bluffing' then BOOM!" says one Redditor.

"That guy is my hero, the fire marshal in my town arrested someone that refused to put their cigarette out at the pump," says another.

"I like that his car door was open. Now his car is full of extinguisher powder," reads one comment.

"Act like a safety hazard, get treated like a safety hazard. Nobody cares how cool you are when you're putting lives and property at risk," says another.
