Financial software company Gatelab, part of London Stock Exchange Group, has become an approved provider of risk gateway services for third party clients accessing the BSE.
Gatelab's will provide ultra low latency gateway with pre-trade risk embedded service for BSE markets. Its flexible software would enable bespoke risk gateway solutions, BSE said in a statement.
"BSE has a proven track record of offering customers connectivity through high quality technology vendors and we are delighted to add Gatelab to that roster of firms," BSE managing director and CEO Ashishkumar Chauhan said.
"Gatelab has a long history of delivering low latency front end solutions for a range of clients," he added.
The risk gateway solutions provided by Gatelab will enable users to send orders to the BSE currency derivatives segment in ultra low latency, if all the pre-trade risk checks are met.
"We intend to expand our offering by adding more segments of the BSE and more markets in the Asia-Pacific region, reducing latency and increasing efficiencies for our customers," Gatelab co-founder and CEO Ferdinando La Posta, said.
