Bigg Boss 11: Salman Khan Says 'Strategies' Won't Work In The Show

New Delhi:  Salman Khan, the host of popular reality show Bigg Boss 11, told news agency IANS that nowadays bond between neighbours is not like what it was in the past. In the current season of Bigg Boss, 11 contestants are playing host to four padosis, who seem to have vowed to make the contestant's life hell. "When I was growing up, not here in Galaxy Apartments but before that... there was an exchange of warmth between padosis. Around 60 families used to stay in that area and people had a connection. Doors were never shut, we used to play around and in the evening. There was an exchange of food. The environment was quite different then," said Salman Khan.

The scene Salman Khan described above doesn't come close to the one tele-viewers witnessed on the first day of Bigg Boss 11. As per Bigg Boss' instructions padosis Sabyasachi Satyapathi, Luv Tyagi, Mehjabi Siddiqui and Lucinda Nicholas cannot reveal details about themselves or even how many padosis the housemates are dealing with. Luv Tyagi's rude behaviour with the housemates (who forgot to send spoons with the food) irked Vikas Gupta, who asked them to keep their attitude in check. The housemates, which also include Shilpa Shinde, Hiten Tejwani, Priyank Sharma, Benafshah Soonawalla, Akash Dadlani, Bandgi Kalra, Arshi Khan, Puneesh Sharma, Jyoti Kumari and SsHivani Durgah, also agreed that the padosis need to be set right from time-to-time.

Of his opinion on Bigg Boss contestants' game plan so far, Salman Khan told IANS: "I think in the last few seasons, people watched the show before participating in it, thinking they know the format of the show. But what they do not understand is whatever strategy they come up with does not work in the house."

In tonight's episode of Bigg Boss 11, padosis will play a significant role in the nomination task.
