3 selfie-occupied youngsters run over by train on Bengaluru outskirts

BENGALURU: Three young men were run over by a train as they tried to take a selfie on the railway tracks in Bengaluru on Monday morning. The incident occurred near the amusement park Wonderla on the outskirts of the city.

The three men are yet to be identified. The incident took place at around 9.30 am, shortly after the three young men rode up on two bikes and stopped near an underpass that leads to Wonderla. They were reportedly taking a selfie standing next to the railway tracks and did not notice the Sholapur -Mysuru Gol Gumbaz Express train creeping up.

Railway police were yet to arrive at the spot.
