Varun Dhawan-starrer Judwaa 2 is probably one of the biggest hits of 2017. The film, which has benefited from having a solo release at the box office, has been able to entertain audience and gain immense love. While Judwaa 2 has received mixed reaction from the critics, the box office figures have a different story to narrate. Also starring Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez, it would not be wrong to expect the film to cross Rs 100 crore in a day or two, at the box office. So far, since the day of its release, the film has done a business of Rs. 77.25 crore.

Varun, for the first time, played a double role in the film, which recreates the 90s magic of Salman Khan-starrer film with the same title. Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez characters are the new addition to the story who bring a freshness to the script. People have lauded Taapsee’s character but Jacqueline’s hotness on-screen is surely unavoidable.

Varun dedicated the success of the film to his father. He took to Twitter and wrote, “judwaa2 is #DAVIDDHAWAN’S 44th film. I am happy as an actor but prouder as a son. He knows his audience and says thank u.” He thanked his co-stars and the audience for the immense love and support they are giving to the film.

Judwaa 2, which released on September 29, had the benefit of having a festive release but now that the weekdays have started, it is to be seen if it maintains its momentum at the box office.
