OTET 2017 answer key: The board of secondary Education Odisha will release the answer keys of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2017 this week at bseodisha.ac.in. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can refer to the official website after the links are activated, according to The Indian Express. The board had conducted the examination on September 29 in different parts of the state. OTET 2017 examinations were held in 2 sessions– paper 1 in morning and paper 2 in the afternoon. Paper 1 carried a total of 150 marks and contained question on child development and pedagogy, a regional language (Odia, Urdu, Hindi, Telugu or Bengali), English, mathematics and environmental studies. The Paper 2 also contained 150 marks question on subjects like — child development and pedagogy, a regional language and English — and an optional subject.

Candidates who are waiting for the results are advised to keep checking for the updates. As per the official notification, the answer keys were to be released immediately after the examination. The TET examination is conducted for determining the eligibility of candidates for various teaching jobs in the state.

Here are the steps to check OTET 2017 answer keys:

1. Visit the official website–bseodisha.ac.in.
2. Click on the notification that says “OTET-2017 answer keys” on the homepage, after it is updated.
3. Now enter the registration number and other details.
4. The answer keys will be displayed on the screen.
5. Save and take a print for future reference.

The board of secondary Education Odisha has set 60 per cent as the minimum cut-off for qualifying the exam. BSE Odisha has also mentioned in a note that passing OTET would not confer a right of any person for recruitment /employment as it is only one of eligibility criteria for appointment, as per IE report.
