BHUBANESWAR: Commissionerate Police on Monday arrested two West Bengal (WB) natives on charges of theft. They have been identified as Dipak Kumar Singh (21) and Govind Singh (19) of Purulia district in West Bengal. Police also seized 28 stolen mobile phones from Dipak and Govind. The duo had arrived in the city ahead of Durga Puja and stolen the mobile phones from several puja pandals including Saheed Nagar.

Police found out that one of the stolen mobile phones was on. After which, they tracked the device and traced the duo. Dipak and Govind used to steal the mobile phones and then leave for Kendrapara Road Railway Station near Jagatpur. The duo used to stay there in the night and come back to the city again in the morning. A case has been registered and investigation is on, said Saheed Nagar police.
