‘My first memory of Spaghetti Junction was being in my grandad’s car on the way to the airport and driving under it,’ explains Highways England project manager, Jessica Kenny.

‘I remember looking out of the car window and seeing the road and thinking how big it was, it sort of looked like a big concrete monster, as I was only little.’

Having grown up in the Midlands, Ms Kenny (39) from Stourbridge, has recently overseen a major concrete and waterproofing repair scheme worth £4.7m at Spaghetti Junction.
