BJD kicks off Jan Sampark Padyatra

ROURKELA: The BJD launched its Jan Sampark Padyatra across Sundargarh district on Monday. 
In Birmitrapur Assembly Segment, Rourkela Development Authority Chairman and BJD’s Sundargarh-unit working president Sarada Prasad Nayak led the foot-march. Nayak was accompanied by former Birmitrapur MLA Nihar Surin, Birmitrapur Municipality Chairperson Manju Ekka and former chairperson of the erstwhile Rourkela Municipality Rashmibala Mishra. 

The party leaders conducted a meeting to reach out to the masses and highlight the achievements of the Naveen Patnaik Government. Similar foot march was also held at Sector-19 area of Rourkela city under RN Pali Assembly Segment. BJD’s Rajya Sabha Member Dilip Tirkey, RN Pali MLA Subrat Tarai and State Secretary AC Mohanty took part in the programme.

Sambalpur: The district unit of BJD took out a Jana Sampark Padyatra from Dhanupali Chowk to Gandhi Mandir at Bhatra here on Monday. Sambalpur MLA Raseswari Panigrahi, Rengali MLA Ramesh Patua, Sambalpur Development Authority Chairman Bijay Mohanty, working president of BYJD Sanjit Mohanty and district BJD president Pramod Rath participated. After completion of the padyatra, a meeting was also organised at Bhatra in which party leaders highlighted the achievements of BJD in the last 17 years.
