Madhav Dhar, Managing Partner, GTI Capital Group talking about the fundamentals of the market says this is a very old and a very long Bull Market and doesn’t take much to dent it.

According to him a classic bull market ends on a high PE and on high earnings and we are not there yet. So, one needs to stay invested in the market, he adds.

He is disappointed that the economic recovery is taking longer than expected although there things happening in the road construction area, housing, insolvency bankruptcy scheme. Addressing the NPA issues is good thing because that is the precursor to get the credit cycle going in India.

Some of structural, non-political things done by the current administration are good. Things like financial inclusion through Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, penetration and innovation across the board is good, says Dhar.
