NEW DELHI: Smarten Spaces, a Singapore- headquartered firm, today said it has appointed former Cisco executive Dinesh Malkani as its Founding Partner and worldwide CEO.

Smarten Spaces, using its artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) platform, will provide solutions to real estate developers.

The company also announced the establishment of its experience development centre in Bengaluru.

"...He (Malkani) will lead the pioneer team responsible for shaping the blueprint to design, define, develop and deploy the company's strategy worldwide. He will also be a member of the Smarten Spaces Board," the company said in a statement.

Founded in April 2017, Smarten Spaces has raised the initial funding it requires to build and go to market as it expands across additional geographies.

The company's leadership team includes Aamer Azeemi (has been associated with Cisco and Wipro), Krishanu Seal (has worked at Flipkart, Yahoo and Amazon) and former Chief HR officer at HCL Technologies Prithvi Shergill.

"Space design and management today is hungry for new ideas that will disrupt how people are using technology as they seek to shape new ways of working and making living more enjoyable. Efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and sustainability can today be multiplied by augmenting intelligence using IoT," Malkani said.
