OnePlus will launch its next smartphone i.e. OnePlus 6 in early 2018. Reports of the arrival of OnePlus 6 have also accompanied information that the company may skip the upgraded version of OnePlus 5 i.e. the OnePlus 5T.
The decision comes after its much-hyped model, OnePlus 5 despite getting rave reviews, failed to make much impact in the market. The model’s launch will also be unprecedented as it is unusual for the mobile brand to launch more than one flagship phone in a year's span. The company had launched OnePlus 5 last June.
Though none of the details about features and specifications of OnePlus 6 has surfaced some speculations have started to come up. As per a report in the India Today, the model will have probably two variants with 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM.
Unlike the OnePlus 3 which had 64 GB internal storage, the new version’s variants may come with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage. It will also not be a surprise if the model comes with a metal and glass body and an Oxygen OS based on Android Oreo.
It is believed that Chinese smartphone firm will make amends to faults found in the new model. The model is expected to be priced at Rs 35000 similar to that of the One Plus 5.
