FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017: How to book tickets online and offline

With just than two days to go until the FIFA U-17 World Cup, people all over India are lining up to book their tickets to the historical event, which is going to be a thrilling and cinematic experience. The U-17 World Cup will be held in six cities of New Delhi, Goa, Kolkata, Kochi, Guwahati and Navi Mumbai from October 6 to October 28, 2017.

Tickets can be purchased both online at http://www.fifa.com/india2017/ticketing and offline at the box offices located in the six host Cities. Starting on 6 October, tickets will be sold at the base price. Tickets purchased online and at the retail outlets can be redeemed, starting September 28, at the box office at each venue from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm every day, except Guwahati, where the box office is situated at the Inter State Bus Terminal. Moreover, fans who purchase a single ticket for double-header match days can attend both games at the stadium.

Here is how to book tickets for the historical event online:


Step 1: Go to http://tickets.india2017wc.com/

Step 2: Click ‘Book Tickets’ under the venue you want to attend.

Step 3: Click ‘Buy Tickets’ of the match you want to attend.

Step 4: Add no. of tickets you want to buy in your choice of category and press ‘continue’.

Step 5: Verify the details and click ‘Place Order’.

Step 6: You can either login to the website to make payment of the tickets or continue as guest.

Step 7: Select delivery and pickup options from courier or pickup from one of the venues.

The following documents are compulsory for ticket pickup:

A: The card / bank account owner’s original Govt. issued photo ID, along with a clean, fully legible, photocopy of the same ID.

B: When a debit or credit card has been used for purchase, we also need the original debit/credit card, along with a clean, fully legible, photocopy of the same card.

If sending someone else on behalf of the card holder / bank account owner, then numbers A and B above (originals and photocopies as mentioned) are needed along with the following:

This is required even if the representative’s name has been entered into the system when buying. An authorization letter with the name of the representative, signed by the card holder/bank account owner, a govt issued photo ID of the representative, along with a clean and legible photocopy of the same photo identification. Please note, absence of any one of the documents above can result in the tickets being refused at the ticket pickup window.

Category 1 – 800 INR

Category 2 – 400 INR

Category 3 – 200 INR

Category 4 – 80 INR

The event will be the 17th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, and its slogan, “Football takes over” is on the tongue of every football lover in the world. So, if you are a football fan too, keen on watching the historic event from up close, it’s time to book your seat.
