Google Ultra Pixel vs Apple iPhone X: Tech giant Google will soon launch two new smartphones in its Pixel lineup. While the two new devices are being touted as Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL, reports have also suggested that there could be a third mobile announced as well. Similar to how Apple launched the iPhone X after rolling out the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, Google too may bring out a new smartphone and it could be called the ‘Ultra Pixel’. The Google Pixel launch event is scheduled to be held on October 4. Meanwhile, Arun Maini, also known as Mrwhosetheboss on YouTube, has leaked a slide which could be a part of the presentation which the company is going to present this week. However, there is no authenticity of the leaked images as of now.

Ever since the leak regarding the ‘Ultra Pixel’ has come up, rumour mills have started rolling and they say that the new Google flagship mobile will directly rival Apple’s iPhone X. The YouTuber (Maini), says that the Google Ultra Pixel will contain a dual-camera setup and an all-new ‘kind of’ fingerprint scanner. It will be interesting to see if Google will come up with the much awaited, ‘fingerprint-scanner-embedded-on-display’ technology. Maini says that the Google Pixel device may not feature the navigation buttons found on Android mobiles. It may not have the back, home, and multi tasking buttons.

The report said that the Ultra Pixel will bring a new ‘fluid’ gesture control which will help navigate around the Android mobile OS. This concept seems to be similar to the one present on the iPhone X. The Apple device uses many swiping gestures to take advantage of the edge-to-edge screen. In another image, there is a screenshot of three different smartphones, namely the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL and Ultra Pixel. It appears that Google plans to introduce a new feature that’s coming to the Pixel launcher.

The company has announced an event to be held on October 4 in San Francisco. Google will likely launch the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixelbook, and a Home Mini. In order to know more, we will have to to wait untill Google launched the new smartphones.
