Autism seminar concludes

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An international autism seminar titled “Saisparsham” concluded at Saigramam, Thonnakkal, here on Saturday. A Sampath MP inaugurated the valedictory.

The seminar was aimed at giving training to parents and caregivers of autistic kids. Trust vice-chairman Gopakumaran Nair presided over the function.

State Child Rights Commission member Sister Biji Jose, trust executive director K N Anandakumar, Devadas, Meg Lupin, Mythily Chari, Nandini Santhanam, Mangalapuram Shafi, Vijayakumari and V Simi spoke. Arts programmes were staged by autistic kids at the function.
