Ujjain: City’s dental surgeon Dr Sachin Trivedi was seriously injured after he rammed into an electric pole here on Sunday. He was walking his way back home from temple when he banged into the pole sustaining multiple head injuries. This incident occurred around 7.15 am near ISKCON temple at Mahananda Nagar Road.
Trivedi was returning home located near the temple after having a darshan when he suddenly fainted and collided with an electric pole. He was rushed to Patidar Hospital where he was given primary treatment. However, later in the day when his condition deteriorated, he was referred to CHL Medical Center, Hariphatak.
Neurosurgeon Dr Rupesh Khatri said that Dr Trivedi has sustained multiple head injuries and looking at his condition it was not impossible to operate upon him. Trivedi’s close friend Dr Shailesh Kachole said that he was administered blood and his condition was highly critical. Trivedi’s wife Kavita is also a dental surgeon.
