CHENNAI: An FIR has been registered against ousted All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader TTV Dhinakaran and 35 others for issuing pamphlets against the Tamil Nadu Government and the Central Government in Salem district.

The pamphlets were distributed by Dinakaran’s cadres supporting former party general secretary Sasikala and him.

The pamphlets took on the Edapaddi Palaniswami-led state government, stressing on failures and raised issues against the present leadership. The pamphlets also asserted that Dhinakaran is the person to lead the party AIADMK.

Reportedly, the pamphlets had the two-leaves symbol which was frozen by the Election Commission inscribed on them.
