Jacqueline Fernandez clears the air on rift with Alia Bhatt over Sidharth Malhotra

The 32-year-old actor said she had called Alia to talk about the entire issue. Meanwhile, Jacqueline, along with Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu is enjoying the success of their latest release Judwaa 2.

Jacqueline Fernandez has wrapped up the promotions of Judwaa 2 and is basking in the success of the film. One topic that was brought up time and again during the promotional events was her rumoured rift with Alia Bhatt, who is supposedly dating Sidharth Malhotra. In the last few months, rumours were rife that Jacqueline’s ‘closeness’ with Sidharth had led to problems between Alia and Sid. Not just this, some also reported that Jacky and Alia have unfollowed each other on social media. But finally, Jacqueline has opened up about the entire issue.

Jacqueline said while she was okay with being linked to her A Gentleman co-star because that happens quite often, Jacky could not handle when everyone claimed that she had unfollowed Alia on Instagram. In an interview to DNA, Jacqueline said, “I picked up the phone and called her. I told Alia that I don’t care what people say or mean, or how they judge me. They can think anything about me. But I do care about what she thinks of me. I spoke to her about this whole unfollowing incident, which is in no way the truth. I follow over a thousand people. Alia and I have so much banter on Twitter and I didn’t even actually realise that I was not following her on Instagram. We are always having conversations on Twitter, so I was thinking, “Are people retarded? Don’t they see all that?””

On September 30, Alia and Jacqueline had a sweet conversation on Twitter, quashing all the rumours about them. Alia took to her Twitter account and wrote, “#Judwaa2 is everything you imagine it to be and MORE!!! Fun, entertaining, adorable and aptly nostalgic!!@Varun_dvn you are sooooo good!!! And adding to the madness @Asli_Jacqueline and @taapsee totally win you over😘😘😘This ones going to be hugeeeee!!!! ✌️✌️”

In response to the tweet, Jacky wrote, “Thank you cutey!!!!! So happy having you there yest!!! Mwaahhhbbb.”

 

Jacqueline would be seen in Bigg Boss 11 premiere tonight, sharing the screen space with Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu for one last time. The 32-year-old actor will be performing on the iconic numbers, ‘Tan Tana Tan’ and ‘Oonchi Hai Building’ while giving us a glimpse of the Bigg Boss house this season. Later, we would also see her sharing the stage with Salman Khan and recreating Kick moment by performing on ‘Jhumme Ki Raat.’
