MP: Low yield, heavy debts drive farmer to commit suicide

ANI  |  Sehore (Madhya Pradesh) [India]

A farmer allegedly committed suicide in Sehore's Dabla village on Sunday due to reduced crop yield and heavy debts.

The incident occurs only few days after Chief Minister with State-Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) to discuss the farmers' issues.

Chouhan had said that the farmers should be provided with easy cashless options, and that they should be made aware of various state and Centre schemes meant for farmers.
