Two bike-borne men died after falling into Sundelav Pond in Jalore district when they were returning home after seeing Dussehra celebration, police said today.
Bodies of deceased, identified as Satish Kumar and Chhagan Meghwal, were found lying in the pond today.
According to Circle Officer Rajendra Singh, the duo allegedly lost control over their bike and fell into the pond.
"It appears that the duo could not gauge the narrow road on the pond, which has no railing. They fell from a height, which led to their death," he added.
Bodies were sent for post-mortem and further investigation into the matter is underway, the police said.
