Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays the role of Jamie Lannister in HBO’s epic fantasy drama ‘Game of Thrones, does not believe the finale of the show will have multiple endings to avoid spoilers. ‘Game of Thrones’ is the most pirated show in history but Coster-Waldau believes it is a little too expensive to shoot multiple endings just to confuse hackers.

“Do you think that’s true? It seems really stupid to me. I mean if it’s true I don’t believe it, but I don’t know, maybe. I mean, I haven’t read the script, so unless they will show several endings that could be a twist, they’re not going to waste that money. They know how expensive it is to shoot. You’re not going to waste USD 100,000 a day to shoot something you’re not going to use. It’s not going to happen,” he told Marie Claire when asked about the rumour.

Game of Thrones is one of the most expensive TV shows ever made. Apart from the props and costumes, computer generated imagery for otherworldly beasts and characters like direwolves, dragons and White Walkers require a lot of dough to execute well and present on the screen. The last season of the HBO show had huge battles and it is almost certain that the final season will also have many expensive battles so the already high budget is set to increase manifold.

Nikolaj debuted in Hollywood with ‘Black Hawk Down’ in 2001. Since then he has starred in many Hollywood films and American TV shows. But it was his performance in Game of Thrones that brought him global fame. His character Jaime Lannister is considered as one of the best in the show and is a fan favourite.
