Judwaa 2 box office collections prediction: Varun Dhawan has never given a flop in his career but with his latest flick Judwaa 2, he can even leave behind the Khan brigade of the industry in terms of box office collection – well, almost. David Dhawan directed Judwaa 2 has already surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ in the opening day collections. The movie, which is more like a reboot rather than a sequel to the Salman Khan starrer, Judwaa 2 has set the box office rolling superbly with its collections within just two days. The total earnings of the film as of Sunday stand at a huge Rs 36.65 crore. Reaping the benefits of being a solo release and long festive weekend, the film secured an opening of Rs 16.10 crore and with this Varun Dhawan’s film entered the list of highest openers of 2017 with a bang. The film collected Rs 20.55 crore on the second day of its release.
If the movie manages to attract the crowd on Sunday and the day following (which is Gandhi Jayanti), the chances of crossing the Rs 200 crore mark will become brighter, Bollywood Hungama reports. His previous flicks including ABCD 2, Dilwale and Badrinath Ki Dulhania have managed to earn more than Rs 100 crore.
Trade analysts are also extremely positive about the movie as Judwaa is already an established brand and people like to go for such entertainers. The songs of the movie are already chartbusters. Both the remixes in the film – ‘Oonchi Hai Building’ and ‘Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12’ have caught on very well with the audience. Further, there aren’t any big releases till Diwali, thus, the movie has a clear shot to make it to the 200 crore club.

This is the first movie in which Varun Dhawan can be seen in a double role while Jacqueline Fernandez and Tapsee Pannu are playing the love interest of the two characters played by the actor in the film. Whether this double role doubles the benefit of the movie or not will be known soon.
