Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and vice president Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday attended Dussehra festivities at Delhi’s Ram Leela Maidan. Speaking at the occasion, PM Modi asked people to pledge a positive contribution towards the country till 2022. President Kovind also took the dais. Kovind said that Vijay Dashmi showcases the victory of morals and civil conduct.
The President added that everyone should try to incorporate Lord Rama’s ideals in their lives. The three leaders arrived at the programme early. As seen in the footage, leaders also paid respects to Lord Rama and Lord Lakshmana.
