Angadiya firm employee looted at knife point
tnn | Sep 30, 2017, 04:00 ISTRajkot: An anagadiya firm employee was abducted and looted of Rs 1.5 lakh cash at knife point by four unidentified persons who had come in a SUV in Gandhidham taown of Kutch on Thursday night. The abductors also threatened to kill the employee unless he paid them Rs 1 crore.
Police said that Ketan Kankrecha, who works at an angadiya firm in Akshit House in Gandhdham, was abducted when he was going to deliver cash to one of his clients on Thursday. He was taken to farmhouse on highway towards Anjar and thrashed by the assailants before looting the Rs 1.5 lakh cash from him. They left Kankrecha on the road and asked him to pay Rs 1crore if he wanted to live.
Soon after being let off Kankrecha approached the police.
