‘Children’s creativity leads to future tech’
Robotics is trying innovative ways and concept based approach to make science interesting for children at the Inverto Techno Robotics.

Archit, a Class 7 student, who finished his half-yearly exams a couple of days back, was super-excited to attend another class on Thursday. This time his excitement was not for his routine subjects, but for something he really enjoys– robotics.
“Archit is fond of creating new things and one of his recent creations was a talking robot,” said Kareena Lal, Archit’s mother, who was present among many others gathered at the launch of Inverto Techno Robotics and Flying Club. The centre was inaugurated by senior resident editor of Hindustan Times, Sunita Aron.
Dr Rohit Srivastava, a surgeon, opined that its very necessary to unleash a child’s creativity as it leads to the future technology. “Robotics is future and it is going to affect our everyday lives. Even robotics surgery will soon become a common procedure,” he added.
Anisha Malwani, another parent present at the launch, said that such endeavours help children to be inquisitive which leads to a wider vision.

“Science is not alien, as believed by many. When you give children a chance, they explore and learn a lot by themselves,” said Mohsina Mirza, who along with Milind Raj has founded the Inverto Techno Robotics and Flying Club.
Mirza claims the lab to be first of its kind. “When you visit the lab, you will come across a lot of amazing utility items that has been created by children attending our workshops,” she said.
“Our motto is to expand children’s vision about science and robotics,” added Mirza. The centre offers courses designed for different age groups and focuses on how children can learn and create new things.
The lab had a drone that can deliver up to a few kilogram of cargo up to a distance of 5-kilometre. There was another drone that can fly inside a room with a camera to collect pictures and videos along with an android based humanoid robot. “All this has been made by the children attending the workshop,” said Milind Raj.
