Zee Theatre will be touring across the country and staging multiple plays. The series will commence in Delhi with "Chakravyuh" from Sunday.
The tour will traverse across Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and other cities, read a statement.
"Chakravyuh" -- A Coconut Theatre and Film and Theatre Society Production -- will be staged at the Kamani Auditorium here on Sunday.
"Chakravyuh" talks about Abhimanyu's battle against the seven great Kaurava warriors, a metaphor for life.
Talking about the play, actor Nitish Bharadwaj said: "While 'Chakravyuh' explores the killing of Arjun's son Abhimanyu, it also discusses some of the most important philosophical questions of life. I'm glad the play is a part of the Maruti Suzuki Zee Theatre series in taking theatre to all corners of the country."
Sunil Buch, CEO, ZEE Live and ZEE Talent added: "'Chakravyuh' is a play that showcases the glorious battle against the Kaurvas, brilliantly portraying the valour of Abhimanyu, while dwelling deep on the philosophies, myths and convictions around his killing. We're glad to bring the play to Delhi."
Zee Theatre, which is a special offering from the stable of global content company ZEE Entertainment Enterprises, will also go to Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru.
