GREATER NOIDA: Even as Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is mulling setting up of a recovery cell to recover dues from defaulting allottees including 99 builders of group housing projects, the Authority on Thursday has issued a final notice through an advertisement in the newspapers. The notice has asked defaulters to clear their outstanding dues at the earliest or face legal action including cancellation of lease deeds. The Authority has further asked allottees to treat the notice as final and said that the Authority will not send individual notices to warn allottees of impending action.
This is the second notice being issued by GNIDA in a week. The earlier notice was uploaded on its website on September 22. GNIDA is presently dealing with an outstanding amount of Rs 6800 crore owed to it by its more than 10K defaulting allottees across all categories of land use with group housing builders owing it a huge chunk amounting to more than Rs 4300 crores.
According to GNIDA officials, a list of all defaulters has been uploaded on GNIDA's website. "A list of all allottees of residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, group housing, builder projects, Sports City and recreational green areas who have defaulted on payments to the Authority has been uploaded on our website www.greaternoidaauthority.in," said B.K Tripathi, Additional CEO (ACEO), GNIDA. "Allottees can check the list and if they figure in its they need to clear their dues immediately so as to avoid due legal process for recovery including lease cancellation," he said. "If any defaulting allottee whose name is in the defaulter list has paid up, the allottee can submit the photocopies of deposited challans through online services after filling the KYA form to the Authority for reconciliation and updating," explained the ACEO.
The ACEO further said that they would not be sending any separate notices to the defaulters after this. "After this, we will just take action for recovery," he warned.
