Ujjain: A man has accused his wife and in-laws of beating him up when he went to bring his wife back home with him from her parents’ home on Tuesday. Harish Badgotya in his statement to the police said, the incident happened at the home of his in-laws. As a normal conversation turned heated, the wife Manisha along with her sisters Poonam, Mamta and mother Premlata Bandwal, who is a BJP corporator, started thrashing Harish with sticks and also injured his head with a stone, locking him up in room.
Neelganga police station staff reached Bandwal’s residence and admitted Harish to hospital. Meanwhile, Bandwal also accused Harish of attacking her with a brick. Later, Manisha registered complaint against Harish for harassing her. Police is conducting an investigation in the matter.
