Man held with fake notes in Srinagar

A man was today arrested with fake currency notes worth Rs 29,000 in the city, the police said.

"Police Station Shaheed Gunj received information that the man was trying to spend the notes near Jahangir Chowk," a police spokesman said.


The suspect, identified as Gulzar Ahmad Shah, was arrested and a case was filed against him.
