Travis Head and Peter Handscomb saw off the tricky period after the mini-collapse and the Aussies revived themselves with a strong finish. The pendulum swung from Australia to India and back in Australia's favour in the end. The visitors started off in dazzling fashion, tearing the Indian bowling apart and raising a 231-run stand. In that partnership, David Warner scored his 14th ton while his partner Aaron Finch fell just 6 runs short of his century. Both these batsmen fell on the same score and that opened the gates for India to come back.
