HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has asked GVMC to improve its services to people without any additional tax burden on them.
Along with MP K. Haribabu and MLAs Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, P.G.V.R. Naidu, V. Ramakrishnababu, Palla Srinivasa Rao, P. Govinda Satyanarayana, V. Ganesh Kumar and P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, he held a meeting with municipal officials at GVMC on Wednesday.
The taxes revised in 2007 should be continued and amenities at Bhimili and Anakapalle should also be improved. Any assistance from the government side would be extended.
Commissioner M. Hari Narayanan made a presentation on the grants, committed expenditure and on works and loans obtained from banks.
