PM Modi meets Afghanistan's Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah

Afghanistan's Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah Indian Prime Minister Modi on Friday and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Dr. Abdullah earlier in the day held talks with Indian External Affairs Minister (EAM) to build upon multifaceted bilateral cooperation.

Dr. Abdullah arrived in on Thursday to hold talks with the Indian leadership and to inaugurate the India-Trade and Investment Show with Indian Minister Arun Jaitley.

During his visit, he will also call on Indian President Ram Nath Kovind.

Talks between the governments of Afghanistan, and the United States have increased after President Donald Trump announced Washington's latest strategy for and South Asia.
